It’s been an uncertain 2021 for events in Australia to say the least, but it now seems positive that AWF can return to live wrestling cards and rebuild momentum, as our home base state of NSW comes out of high restrictions and lockdowns, and returns to business with venues reopening to host events.
AWF has missed our AWF Army of Supporters in person and we can’t wait to see you again in December for two huge events, being AWF Pro-Wrestling Comeback, and AWF Pro-Wrestling Legacy. These events are sure to be packed with emotion and AWF spirit that will make an awesome wrestling memory for all in attendance.
We thank our AWF Army who have stuck with us via social media and videos over the turbulence of the year, and the AWF Team are really excited to end 2021 on a high note, with 2 explosive events that set the stage for a positive 2022 to make up for some lost time and action for all!

- Lots of exciting matches and future events are being explored currently by AWF Management, with some new talent and live event areas to be announced at the upcoming AWF Comeback and AWF Legacy December Live Events! Stay tuned as business is about to pick up again!
- AWF has also planned to return to the Blue Mountains area in early 2021, and shall host the final of the AWF Women’s Championship Tournament at this event, to be held between Flame (who defeated Kathryn Nixon on 4 June), and the winner of the upcoming Nikki Poteet Vs Coby Starr bout at AWF Comeback on 10 December in Petersham. Full event details to be released in December.
- AWF Classic Events are being digitised from the AWF Video Archive currently and will be uploaded for purchase at the AWF Pivotshare soon. Full Events such as AWF PsychoticSlam ‘99 & 2000, International Assault Series 2, and more will be online soon.
- AWF will have a special Christmas Pack available at the AWF Website in December that will be a great gift for any wrestling fan, and at the same time support future AWF 2022 Live events.
- AWF Year End Awards will be online after the smoke settles from the AWF Legacy live event, with a chance for fans to also vote and have a say in various categories. Stay tuned to AWF Social Media for details in late December.
